About

Most of us were taught to manage everything except what we feel.

I'm Gary Williams, Jr. — a Qualified Mental Health Professional and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor with twenty years in community mental health, crisis response, substance use recovery, and men's groups.

I've sat in a lot of rooms full of grown men who would not say the word depression out loud. Not couldn't. Wouldn't. That room is why I do this work.

I speak plainly about the things men are taught to keep quiet: grief, burnout, anger, and what's underneath it. No jargon, no performance, and no pretending it's simple.

Anger is a bodyguard. It shows up fast, it's loud, and it's standing in front of something softer.

What I bring

Three talks, built for real rooms

01

Understanding Mental Health

What mental health actually is, why our community gets less help for it, and the emotional intelligence it takes to live it out. Built for community events, health fairs, and congregations.

02

Mental Health, Man to Man

For men's ministries, fatherhood programs, and recovery communities. What's under the anger, the difference between reacting and responding, and why quiet is what kills us.

03

Emotional Intelligence at Work

Self-awareness, regulation, empathy, and repair — taught as a competence, not a personality type. For teams, leadership groups, and workplace wellness programs.

The Workbook

Emotional Intelligence — The Workbook

Understand your emotions. Choose your responses. Build better relationships.

Seven modules and thirty-five activities you work through at your own pace. It opens with a 25-question assessment so you start with a number instead of a hunch — and ends with the same 25 questions, charted against the first, so you can see what actually moved.

Private by design Everything saves as you type. Nobody else can read a word of it, including me.
One payment Lifetime access. Not a subscription, and no card left sitting on file.
Wherever you are Works on your phone, your laptop, whatever's in front of you.

Presale opens October 1 at $14.99 and runs through October 13. It opens fully October 14 and is $19.99 from then on. I'll email you once, when it's ready.

You're on the list. I'll be in touch October 1.
